Cadet Pilot Program

The Cadet Pilot Program by RSA is a structured aviation training pathway designed to prepare aspiring pilots for successful airline careers.

Eligibility Requirements

Indian

Must be of Indian Nationality or hold an overseas citizenship of India

Age

18 years - Should have completed 10+2.

Education

10+2 with Physics & Maths with an aggregate of 60%in English, Maths & Physics

Medicals

Have the ability to possess a valid Indian Class 1 Medical certificate with no limitations and be in good physical condition.

Airlines Selection Process

Suitability and Screening

After applying, the candidate’s application is reviewed by the relevant Flight Training Organisation based on IndiGo’s requirements for education, personality, and medical status.

Written Proficiency Test and Aptitude

The assessment evaluates language and verbal comprehension, numerical efficiency, hand-eye coordination, multitasking ability, spatial orientation, and complex problem-solving skills.

Group Discussion

Candidates participate in group discussions on a designated topic, during which they are continuously assessed by IndiGo panel members.

Personal Interview

The Personal Interview focuses on evaluating a candidate’s personality, communication skills, motivation, and readiness for professional pilot training.

Real airline-style group discussion sessions on actual GD topics, guided by experts and airline pilots.

Personal interview

Personal interview preparation through one-on-one mock sessions with airline captains and experts.
